One of the 12 patent attorneys licensed to practice before the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Maryam Mirzoyeva has a proven track record of representing clients in complex patent and trademark matters, including filing and registration of trademarks, trademark renewals, trademark clearance searches and opinions, conducting IP due diligence for strategic transactions, IP risk assessment, recordal of trademark assignments and licenses, as well as conducting investigations related to trademark use and infringements. She also has particular experience in representing international and domestic companies in trademark disputes before the Appellate Council of the Intellectual Property Agency.
Maryam gained extensive exposure to complex cross-border IP issues having worked at a large international law firm based in Baku for almost a decade.
